Amazon: the world's largest online retailer has long been focused not only on growth and profitability. Especially in Germany, critical reports on local working conditions have prompted the online giant to reconsider its approach to its warehouses’ design. Part of Amazon's new mission is to ensure sustainability.
Task: The logistics center with an area of 3,900 square meters reflects a new philosophy of sustainability. The entire concept of cooling the hall, with a height of up to 12 meters, had to be implemented with maximum efficiency. The requirement was to destratify the air in winter, i.e., to equalize temperatures between the floor and the ceiling of the hall to save heating costs. Conversely, during the summer months, it was necessary to ensure natural air circulation in the working areas. The purpose of this defined air movement is to increase employee comfort and reduce operating costs.
Solution: Installation of HVLS (High Volume Low Speed) ceiling fans with a diameter of 7.3 meters, evenly distributed across the hall area, to ensure air dispersion covering the entire working area. The entire system was further integrated into the BMS (Building Management System), which operates the fans autonomously according to programmed scenarios and based on temperature profile throughout the hall.

Farm Kačlehy is an older agricultural facility in Kačlehy near Jindřichův Hradec. The problem addressed was the need to regulate high temperatures in the cowshed inexpensively during the summer months. A mobile fan with a diameter of 2.0m became a key element in solving this problem. It ensures better air circulation and reduces humidity, resulting in a more comfortable and healthier environment in the cowshed. Milk production increased by 20% after just one month of use.

NextPharma: NextPharma Logistics (Germany), as one of the leading players in pharmaceutical logistics, serves 86 customers in the D-A-CH region and has so far recorded over 95 million dispatched packages. The company recently moved to a new logistics center near Dortmund Airport. Thanks to solid motorway infrastructure, it will also serve business activities in the Benelux region in the future. On an area of 7,900 square meters, goods sensitive to temperature, mainly pharmaceuticals for people and veterinary medicine, are stored in accordance with GDP guidelines (Good Distribution Practice certificate).
Task: For sensitive and rapidly deteriorating products, room temperature is a crucial factor in the storage process and one of the greatest challenges posed to heating and cooling technologies in new buildings. In the case of pharmaceutical storage, the client has defined the required temperature range from a minimum of 19°C to a maximum of 23°C, evenly distributed across the entire storage area. The difference between the lowest measured temperature and the required highest temperature should be no more than 3°C, which presents a challenge given the building's height of around 11 meters.
Solution: Installation of HVLS (High Volume Low Speed) ceiling fans with diameters of 4.9m and 3.9m. Integration of the fans into a HVAC system and control through the BMS system ensure energy savings of nearly 30%.

At Adam's Bistro&Bar in Třebíč, we faced challenges associated with extreme temperatures during the summer months and high heating costs in winter. The key solution to these problems was the use of a Modern ceiling fan, suitable for urban spaces. We effectively regulated the perceived temperature and improved air circulation. This created a more pleasant and cost-effective environment for Adam's Bistro guests.

Chateau Nezamyslice
Mental institution at the in Nezamyslice near Prostějov presented us with another challenge in the form of ensuring destratification in a room where the ceiling, due to the tower-like roof, reaches a height of almost 15m. It was nearly impossible to heat this room to a comfortable temperature. Conversely, in the summer, due to the room's location just under the roof, the space overheats. As a solution, we chose to install two units of HVLS (High Volume Low Speed) ceiling fans with a diameter of 1.5m.

Café Datel
This renowned Café Datel café is located in the historic center near Přemysl Otakar II Square, in the South Bohemian capital of České Budějovice. This space, with a ceiling height of approximately 5m, had problems with ventilation due to the building being very old. Opening windows or doors didn't improve the air circulation, so the owner decided to address the problem using ceiling fans.
Two units of the Modern fan provided pleasant air circulation, with intensity easily adjustable via remote control to adapt the airflow speed to achieve comfortable environment for customers.
